Hours:

The Pavilion is open by appointment,  Monday through Saturday.

The Pavilion is normally closed Sundays, and on the following US holidays: Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Cost/Donations

The Children's Peace Pavilion is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Admission is free, but suggested donations of $2.50 per child or adult are greatly appreciated. Donations are tax deductible.

How do I Schedule a Group Visit?

Please look over our calendar of upcoming events to identify available dates. Then give us a call to confirm and reserve the date you select.

To book tours, call 510-792- 1929 and leave a message or e-mail and someone will contact you within two business days.  We will try to make every accommodation for your visit.

We have a maximum capacity of 60 children plus chaperones. Please bring at least one adult for every five children. Allow 2 hours for your group to complete all the exhibits.

Driving Directions:

From the North

Take Interstate 80 south to Alvarado Blvd / South Fremont Blvd, turn left at the stoplight; go over the freeway to the third light - Paseo Padre Parkway, turn left.  Go to the first light, make U-turn.  The Peace Pavilion is on your right just before the stoplight.

From the South


Take Interstate 80 North to Alvarado Blvd / South Fremont Blvd, turn right at the stoplight; go to the second light - Paseo Padre Parkway, turn left.  Go to the first light, make U-turn.  The Peace Pavilion is on your right just before the stoplight.


From the East

Take Interstate 580 east to Highway 238 to South 880 and follow the above directions “From the North”

OR

Take Interstate 580 east to Interstate 680 South Highway 84 West through Niles Canyon to Mission Blvd.  Turn right on Mission Blvd to Decoto Rd, turn left onto Decoto; go to Paseo Padre Parkway, turn right the Peace Pavilion will be on your right about 1 mile.

From the West

Take Dumbarton Bridge East to Paseo Padre Parkway, turn left.  The Peace Pavilion will be on your right about 1 miles.
